The DGLN (German Society for Neurology) is committed to the continuous development and improvement of analytical methods in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) diagnostics and clinical neurochemistry. For this reason, experts active within the DGLN in the disciplines of CSF puncturing and analysis have developed guidelines and compiled a catalog of laboratory parameters important in neurological and psychiatric diagnostics.
The presented collections are expressly not intended to replace textbooks on clinical neurochemistry, neurology, or clinical chemistry. At the same time, they are meant as an invitation to all colleagues to submit suggestions for improvement and updates to the editors.
