In 2015, we jointly celebrated 25 years of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) diagnostics in Germany. It was a great pleasure to welcome you to this anniversary celebration at the Hannover Medical School, which coincided with our annual conference. We were particularly pleased to welcome honorary members of the German Society for Cerebrospinal Fluid Diagnostics (DGLN) and many representatives of CSF research, diagnostics, and clinical neurochemistry who had been active in this field for more than 25 years in both East and West Germany and had made significant contributions to the field.
